Thought and Action
How do you get more done? Thinking takes less effort than action, but action has the benefit of accomplishing something. Therefore, if a domain is well understood, it sometimes makes more sense to do the thing than it does to keep mulling it over.
To this end, it’s probably a good idea to turn every single “I should” into a decision process.
- Do it now, or reschedule to a future date where I have more information.
- After rescheduling to a future date, either do it immediately and add it to the done list, or satisfy myself with never doing it.
